Thanks to Disney, they released new info on Selena and Demi's new DCOM, Princess Protection Program.

When Princess Rosalina (Lovato) is threatened by an evil dictator bent on taking control of her country, she is whisked away and placed into the Princess Protection Program, a secret agency that watches over imperiled princesses around the world. Mason, an agent with the program, hides Princess Rosalina in his own home where, with the help of his daughter Carter (Gomez), she adopts the cover of an ordinary teen named Rosie. An insecure tomboy, Carter works at a local bait shop after school and dreams of going to the school dance with her crush, Donny, the school hunk. Rosie quickly becomes popular at school which Carter must learn to accept but the two also form a close bond as Carter helps Rosie transform into a normal teenager and Rosie shows Carter how to find the princess within herself.

Popstar! Magazine posted this a little while back. It was an exclusive interview that they did with Selena that you can only see online.

"Yes! [Hollywood] is not as glamorous as it looks. It's really not. I don't do it for the glamour, I really do it because I love acting. We deal with things at work where we have issues and we get in trouble, 'cuz every now and then we have to focus. I have to do chores. Its like sports, you do soccer, there are advantages and disadvantages."

Okay everyone, I have been hearing tons of rumors, even though this rumor is pretty old about Selena being in High School Musical #3, so I wanted to clear it all up. "Another Disney teen star, Selena Gomez, was offered a role in High School Musical 3. And she said no! I can’t believe that. I thought any young girl would be dying to be a part of that cast!!! Selena said, “High School Musical 3 is cute, and I think it would be a great opportunity for someone else. But I passed on it because I didn’t want to do it. I plan to take other roles in acting that are challenging for me. After Disney, I want to be taken seriously as an actress for many years.” I hope she finds success on the big screen. If not, she’s going to be looking back at this opportunity and kicking herself."
